OMG – President Barack Obama Calls Abortion a ‘Constitutional Right’?

by David Gray, January 22, 2011
On the 38th anniversary (Saturday, January 22, 2011) of the Supreme Court’s decision (Roe v. Wade) to legalize a woman’s un-right choice and license to abort (murder) her own child in the womb, President Barack H. Obama said in a statement that he remains committed to policies designed to prevent unintended pregnancies. And he called on Americans to recommit themselves to ensuring that “our daughters have the same rights, the same freedoms, and the same opportunities as our sons to fulfill their dreams.” Obama said the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortion “protects women’s health and reproductive freedom, and affirms a fundamental principle: that government should not intrude on private family matters. I am committed to protecting this constitutional right.”

How offensive; how out of touch with reality; and how incredibly drunk on relativism can one person be to say the outlandish and insensitive things that President Barack Obama says about murdering prenatal children?

In my article The Liberal Democrat Agenda Against Black-Americans, I outlined all of the aggressive actions that Obama has taken against pre-natal children and women through his administrative appointments and executive actions. The man says that he is committed to designing policies to prevent unintended pregnancies but has moved to put together the most pro-abortion administrations in the history of this country. Therefore, Obama either actually believes what he saying about wanting to reduce unintended pregnancies or he is being intentionally dishonest.

What are these same rights, freedoms, and opportunities that our sons have that Obama also wants for our daughters to share in? These sound like lines out of the radical feminist playbook of the 1960’s. He can’t be referring to abortion as something that will equal the playing field between men and women, because, as the father of prenatal child, I have no rights to either make or prevent a woman from murdering or preserving the life of my child in her womb. Moreover, Obama is just plain out of touch with reality here in saying that by virtue of a woman being who God created her to be that she is, therefore, naturally prevented from fulfilling her dreams. Every woman should be insulted by the pretense this statement of his – that woman is inferior to man because she is capable of giving new life; that because she has a pair of ovaries that her life is over once she gets pregnant. I would never insult my daughters my telling them that they cannot less than what they dream just because God have given them the gift of bearing new life. In fact, I am inclined to tell them the opposite.

Let’s end the hypocrisy! If President Obama is truly interested in women having the same opportunity as men then he should stop promoting and financially supporting the abortion industry, which permanently prevents millions of children every day from having the freedom, rights, and opportunities to pursue their dream.

Next, Obama proves himself to be completely out of touch with reality where he says that legalized abortion “protects women’s health and reproductive freedom”, when it has been proven that when a woman has an abortion it causes a 40% increased risk to her developing breast cancer.

Then Obama says the craziest thing I have ever heard. He said that murder by abortion is a constitutional right. Where in the Constitution of the United States of America does it say that abortion is a constitutional right? Let me answer that for everyone: No where! Absolutely no where is any reference to abortion in the Constitution of the United States. And this man is suppose to be Constitutional lawyer? This is utterly ridiculous that this is who we have elected to lead this country – a man whose mother against all odds gave him the opportunity to be born, is now the world leader for preventing other children from having the same opportunity.

Moments like these cause my mouth to drool at the anticipation of casting my ballot for the Pro-Life Presidential candidate in 2012.
