Imagine John the Waymaker (the Baptist) being silent and not telling everyone the truth. Imagine Pope Fabian, Bishop of Rome (January 10, 236 AD to January 20, 250) being silent, rather than telling Catholics to reject the edict of Decius. Heck, imagine Rocky Balboa taking a beating round after round, and not eventually getting off the ropes to overpower his opponent with only grit, heart, and willpower. The reason why the Bishops of the Catholic Church and many conservative Protestant Pastors are not standing on the rooftop of their Churches right now to sound the alarm is not because they don’t know they need to. It’s not because they don’t recognize the hour. On the contrary, many of them do see the approaching danger. Many of them do want to shout from the rooftops that we need a regime change. Yet, the reason why they don’t is because they have been muted, neutered, and enslaved by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Their deathly silence comes not by their hearts, but by failing to obey Christ Jesus. They are guilty of not rendering unto Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and of rendering unto Caesar what belongs to God. The mouth and ram’s horn of the Church has been clogged up by the government’s 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. Every Catholic Church in this country and over eighty percent of Protestant Churches receive the 501(c)(3) tax exemption, which allows them receive financial contributions, donations, and tithes without having to render unto Caesar his taxes on those monies. To be tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, an organization must be organized and operated exclusively for exempt purposes set forth in section 501(c)(3), and none of its earnings may inure to any private shareholder or individual. In addition, it may not be an action organization, i.e., it may not attempt to influence legislation as a substantial part of its activities and it may not participate in any campaign activity for or against political candidates. Out of fear of losing what rightfully belongs to Caesar, the Church has lost it’s call to be the Pillar and Foundation of Truth in this country. The Church in America can’t be trusted or depended upon to tell us the truth because it clings to Caesar’s entitlement. The only course of action is for the Church to reject the 501(c)(3) entrapment of silence and render unto Caesar what belongs to him, so that it can once again be free to render unto God what belongs to God.
Here, at this pivotal moment in the United States of America, we have a president who has been persecuting the Church and Her beliefs with his Health and Human Services Mandate. We have a 2012 Democratic Party Platform and a President who have been more aggressively anti-life and anti-marriage than any other political party or president in the history of this country. Together, we have a president and a political party who are attacking all that God has given the Church to protect, preserve, and promulgate. Yet, in the face of all of that, we have a Church that remains deathly silent on telling Her sons and daughters how to immediately put an end to their religious persecution, and how to curb this trend towards radical progressivism.

Here’s What’s Wrong with the Church in America Today
by David L. GrayWhenever and wherever the Church has flourished is where and when it has preached the truth, no matter the cost. Whenever and wherever the Church has flourished is where and when it has rendered unto Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and rendered unto God what belongs to God (Cf. Mark 12:17).
