These swell Catholics have also arrived at the place where they believe that they cannot vote for Mitt Romney because he allows for some cases of abortion (e.g. rape, incest, and when the life of the mother is at stake); and/or because he’s a Mormon, and/or because he won’t make contraception illegal. These people have decided to either vote for a third party candidate, write their on name in on the ballot, or not vote at all.

I don’t think anyone is surprised that the original DNC Platform failed to render God his due this year being that the immorality of Homosexual Marriage and Free Abortions being promoted in it. To their credit the DNC failed to give credit to Satan as well.

Timothy Cardinal Dolan got it wrong once again. He asked the Democrats if he could come pray at the opening of their convention, but what he should have asked for was permission to perform the rite of exorcism outside of where they are meeting.

What remains for us to do is continue to pray for the Cardinal and to discuss the reasons for his justification to determine whether we should continue to be scandalized now and in the future when another Cardinal or Catholic Organization follows his example.

Mr. Bill Donohue owes everyone who have signed these petitions and have been praying for Cardinal Dolan to rescind his invitation to the President an apology. Until that happens I don’t see any reason why he should be speaking on the behalf of those he so callously speaks about to the media.

For the reasons mentioned in this article we need to take action at the ballot booth this year to ensure that we as Catholics will be able to live our faith out in the open and without interference from the government. We are living in precarious times, and this election will sway the pendulum to one way or the other. What we once thought was unimaginable has become legal, and what remains to be unimaginable is soon to become legal – unless we act now for a regime change!
